The staffs started to arrange lines about 8 or 9 o’clock. Then, we stood to line up for exchanging tickets. Moreover, Vivi and I had to carry our luggage to line up. My luggage became heavier and heavier and I was exhausted by the endless ranks. I had to move and stop constantly so I could not sit down for a nap. Finally, after more than 3 hours, about 12 o’clock, I took the rock zone ticket. There were about 50 thousands people came to see the concert so my ticket number of entering Stadium was a front sequence. We could see Mayday’s performance in a close distance but not just watch the large monitors. It was worthy to sleep on the ground.

A Homemade Dessert – Pineapple Pie
It was difficult to buy all the ingredients of pineapple pies or other desserts in a grocery store, because some ingredients were only available in a cooking ingredient store. In the store, besides the ingredients that my mother needed, she also bought dessert appliances. For example, pans for making pineapple pies, a food scale and an electric mixer. It all cost her three thousand dollars. Even though the appliances were expensive, for the next time, what she had to buy were only ingredients. Also, fresh ingredients are required. Once my mother used some leftover milk powder make cheesecakes. The crusts of the cakes could not mix together and some were still powders. Then, she checked the expiration date and found it was overdue. We still ate all the cheesecakes because it was a waste of food to throw them away. Luckily, our stomachs were all fine.
The ingredients of 50 pineapple pies included 175 grams of bread flour, 450 grams of cake flour, 150 grams of butter, 60 grams of sugar, 100 grams of milk powder, 100 grams of cheese powder, 2 eggs, 1 yolk, 250 grams of unsalted butter and 1 bag of pineapple filling. To make 100 pineapple pies, we need to double the weight of the ingredients. My mother had bought a food scale so my sisters and I weighted the ingredients. The weight of each ingredient should be accurate if we wanted to eat delicious pineapple pies. After the preparation of ingredients, the next step was to make the crusts of pineapple pies and it was very simple. We put all the ingredients except the filling into a big mixing bowl and mixed them into a huge pastry. The butter should be heated till it melted and cooled. The mixing step was easy but it needed some skills and strengths to mix them completely so we rolled them into a mass in turn. The pastry was the crusts of pineapple pies.
After the preparation of crusts, it was time to make pineapple pies. I took a ball of the pastry and wrapped a small ball of pineapple filling. Then, I round the filling pastry, put it into the pan and make it become square. After that, my mother baked pineapple pies. It was done when the crust became golden or even brown. The cool pineapple pies would be more delicious than hot ones. For me, the proportion between the filling and the pastry was hard to handle. As a result, some pineapple pies that I made were full of filling and some were few. There were several flavors of filling you could choose in an cooking ingredient store, so you could make orange pies or mulberry pineapple pies.
Making desserts is interesting. All my family members can join in the cooking. It is a sense of achievement to enjoy desserts which are made by our own hands. Moreover, while making, we can also chat with each other. As for my mother, she even wrapped pineapple pies as a gift for her friends. They all praised her and often share the recipes with her. To sum up, cooking for my family not only make us full but also amuse ourselves.

The concert was free as bought Mayday’s new album. As a result, there would be huge amount of fans join the concert. My friend in Tunghai University heard that some crazy fans had camped outside Stadium on Monday so Vivi and I decided to line up early. My friend said she would set up to Taipei on Friday morning and she would save seats for us. Then, after school, we took bus to Taipei. Karry were also with us because she wanted to go home. It was 2 o’clock am on Saturday while we arrived in Stadium. There were already lots of fans lined up and slept outdoors. They had surrounded Stadium ring above ring and some slept on the ground or camped just like vagrants. It really made me creepy. Moreover, it was really difficult to find my friend in huge crowd. Luckily, I still found her and her friends.

12/12 Journal
It was interesting but strange to observe Mayday. Because I was so close to them, it was easy to see what they were doing, like chatting with each other, drinking water. Meanwhile, I was photographing them by my cell phone camera. However, after taking only two pictures, the battery in my cell phone was exhausted. It really disappointed me so I only photographed them by my eyes camera. I stood there and looked at them fall in faces for more than twenty minutes. It’s really freak but fans always did it. Then, finally, I decided to order Mayday’s 7th album. I was released from the purchase struggle in my mind. “Goodbye and see you guys in Taipei,” I said in a whisper. Later, I turned around but finding surprisingly that I was surrounded ring upon ring by crowd. I tried to walk back to the record store. After saying more than ten times “excuse me”, I finally reached to the store and paid for the album. I took the final glance at Mayday on the stage, and then went home.

Music is also my outlet for thought. There are lots of different types of songs so I can find one that can match or cheer up my mood. It is important to get something off my chest by sharing so music is my considerate accompany. It's also the reason that people need to have radio or TV on when they are alone because they don't feel alone anymore.

11/07 Journal
After lunch time, I went to the water footway with some teammates. The water footway was that tourists could walk on the riverbed and cool themselves. The flow of water was huge because of the typhoon. Moreover, the impulsion of waterfalls was large and that made cool wind. We took off our shoes and stepped into the river. The water was cold and the wind was cool. Except that, there were many trees flourished along the river. It was really a summer resort to avoid blazing heat. We spent some time staying there. Some of us took pictures. Some tried to walk upstream but the flow of water was so strong that they might slip down and were brought away by the flow. Most of us just sat on the shore, soaked our feet in the water and let the flow take away our swelter.
In the afternoon, all of members packaged luggage and took the bus to school and back home. In this camping, in my opinion, most of our teammates were freer and idler than other teams. The reasons were that we did not need to cook dishes. The meal boxes really helped us a lot. Also, we did not have to tilt tents because we lived in the hostel. The two important thing that team of miscellaneous affairs should care very much were all be simplified so we did our work easily and happily. Next time, if the team of miscellaneous affairs’ works still so light and relaxed, I will join it immediately without consideration.

In the small hours, all the staffs had to take turn to keep watch and our team was the last shift. The bed was too comfortable to wake up but I still had to leave it. It was 4 o’clock AM. I took a short walk outside. It was still dark and stars were still shining there. I tried to recognize some constellation but it was difficult for me. I planned to observe stars later. However, it had been bright already before I noticed that. I could not see any small stars. How dull am I.
Before the breakfast arrived, my teammates could still have a nap. When we were sleeping, the freshmen and the staffs except us were taking morning exercise outside. After the breakfast, it was time for the RPG. The RPG means Roles-Playing Game. All of staffs had to play a role. There were some connections and clues with each role. The players had to find them, play games and get treasure. Susan and I were in the story of Aladdin. I was 7-11 and she was OK Market. That means we were the grocery store keepers. The players had to give us the card of water from Poseidon because we were cleaning the grocery store. Then, they could play the game from us. If they passed the game, they could get the card of food and give it to dwarfs.

10/24 Journal
In the afternoon, our team had a free time. The freshmen were having group activities with sweat under hot sun, but we stayed in our room and took a nap or watched TV with air-condition. Then, I took a walk to a footway. It was very relaxing and comfortable. Lots of trees shaded me from the sun. The wind was cool. Everything in Mother Nature was special and unique.
At night, our team had to decorate the path of night walk. We put light sticks on the right direction to lead the freshmen go trembly through the haunted path. Later, we also walked the path. At first, I was a little afraid of walking the path because it was too dark to watch my steps. It was full of stars but with crescent. Moreover, some of staffs dressed up as ghosts. However, we were not scared by people. We were ready to scare ghost pretenders. It was really interesting to see people terrible frightened and get stunned. It was a sense of achievement of pranks.

10/17 Journal
Last last weekend, the freshman camping was held by the sophomore. I was one of staffs and I chose the team of miscellaneous affairs (It is hard to translate it). The jobs included booking the tour bus, preparing meals, being keepers of room keys and equipments. The heavy preparation of the camping had been for a long time. For example, the team of activity had to think about the fames. Also, many people had to rehearsal dances and comedies in the night party for many times. However, our team did not need any practice. Should I practice keeping keys or sharing meal boxes? As a result, I was not busy for the camping preparation.
The camping was in Hui Sun Forest. It was the first time I went there so I was looking forward it. The road surface in mountains was not well because of the typhoon. We swayed with the bus to the destination. It was really hard to fall asleep. Our team’s first work was to carry all people’s luggage to rooms. I was like the porter in hotel. It was a laborious work because I had to drag luggage to take the elevator and drag them to rooms. However, I could see the rooms first. The hostel in Hui Sun Forest had done recently, so all the equipments were really new and high-class. We ordered several ten-people suites. Although the room was for ten people, it was spacious and paved with pretty woods. Each one had a mattress. There were an air conditioner and a liquid crystal television. Especially, there were two bathrooms. It was wonderful for ten girls to rake a bath. Of course, the scene was really beautiful. The green green mountains were right in front of windows and the other side of mountains was Mountain Jade.

Yesterday, I had my first badminton class. It was at thesecond floor of the gym. I had never been to the second floor. I was happy to prepare my badminton bags on Sunday and I was looking forward to the class. At the PE class, I put on my new shoes and started to warm up. Then, the teacher let us to pratice how to get familiar with a shuttlecock. For example, threw a shuttlecock high to the air and caught it. It was interesting and I thought the shuttlecock had not been my fellow. After the warm-up game, the teacher tought students the badminton strokes. For me, it was a little difficult, because I was used to the wrong strokes and now I had to learned the right one again. It led me cannot hir the shuttlecock. It really disappointed me. However, the teacher said, learn slowly but play correctly.
