11/21 Journal

Last month, I went to National Taichung Library to return books. Later, I walked to 一中Street where is near Library and guessed whether I order Mayday’s new album or not. The new 7th album of Mayday was 後。青春期的詩 (Poetry of The Day After…). I liked the title of the album very mush. The theme of time attracted me. What would you do to the climax of your life that passed far little by little? Recollected it or climaxed again? However, the released song 出頭天 didn’t attract me. As a result, there was a struggle in my mind. The song is ok but the title was great. Should I trust Mayday? Also, there were two types of ordered album. Every ordered album contained a concert ticket. One was the concert of 50 thousand people in Taipei and the other was the school tour. However, Mayday hadn’t release the details of school tour. While I was on the way to the record store, my mobile rang. It was my friend who liked Mayday very much. “Sophie, did you go to Mayday’s live in 水利 Plaza?” What? I totally forgot the live. After the small talk with my friend, I rushed delightfully to there to see Mayday.

...To be continued

I think Mayday is one of the symbolized Taiwanese bands. Their lyrics tell many stories and thoughts of youth. The language they use is also familiar to teenagers. It is surprising of their sunny songs with a traditional language, Taiwanese. (Sometimes, it is viewed as the language only used by the elder or countryman.) The quality of their songs is famous, and I think it worth attending their live.
